New York City - Acting
I, Sanya Harnung, am a Danish/Swedish actress based in New York City. Method acting trained by Lee Strasberg Theatre and film institute NYC and Actors Studio Stockholm.
My connection to acting is using my sensitive but strong soul, spontaneous tempo and energetic presence that brings out my passion for drama.
My passion for drama came by my abstract artwork.
After my first audition I got accepted and started with acting during the fall 2021 in an American acting school in Stockholm called Actors Studio Stockholm. They use the methods developed by Michael Checkhov and Sanford Meisner and this school is run by an American coach.
In the spring 2023 I applied and got accepted to Lee Strasberg Theatre and film Institute NYC for their Two-Year Conservatory Program in Method Acting. I started that journey in the fall 2023 and graduated in late June 2025.
I will now start my new journey from fall 2025 in NYC and have signed up with two freelance agencies: GMT/‘Gonzales Model & Talent’ and ‘Wildmodels’.
